| »COVER STORY« je istraživanje napravljeno na osnovu džez omota, koje je sakupilo fotografije, muziku i razmišljanja o važnosti koju je omot imao u istoriji džez muzike. |
»COVER STORY« is a research based on covers of jazz records, that
gathered photographs, music and thoughts about the significance that cover
had in history of jazz
music. |
| Pomoću 150 omota »COVER STORY« predlaže putovanje od kraja '30-tih godina prošlog veka do naših dana, uz slušanje nekih od džez klasika i nekoliko kratkih intervjua sa ekspertima i zaljubljenicima u ovu vrstu muzike. To su: Renzo Arbore, najznačajniji ambasador afro-američke muzike u Italiji, autor i voditelj radio i tv programa za RAI; Pupi Avati, reditelj i muzičar, autor filma posvećenog legendarnom belom džez muzičaru Bix Beiderbeche; Rosana Buono, zaljubljenik u džez i docent savremene istorije umetnosti na univerzitetu Tor Vergata u Rimu; Adriano Mazzoletti, jezz ekspert i voditelj najznačajnijih radio programa u Italiji; Libero Farne, autor knjige »Videti džez«. |

Using 150 covers »COVER STORY« suggests travel trough time since
the end of 30es of the past century until our days, using some of jazz
classics and a few short interviews with the experts and admirers of this
kind of music. These are Renzo Arbore, the most significant ambassador of
Afro-American music in Italy, author and MC of radio and TV program for
RAI, Pupi Avati, director and musician, author of film dedicated to
legendary white jazz musician Bix Biederbache, Rosana Buono, admirer of
jazz and docent at Tor Vergata University in Rome, Department of
Contemporary History of Arts, Adriano Mazzoletti, jazz expert and MC of
the most significant radio programs in Italy, Libero Farne, author of the
book named »To See Jazz«. |
