Michael Erian graduated in jazz and popular music from the Corinthian Conservatory and the Jazz Academy in Graz in 1990, receiving his master degree in 1999 from the “Royal Conservatory” The Hague, Netherlands, where he studied with John Ruocco. He is a member of J.A.M. – Austrian Jazz Orchestra with Erich Kleinschuster.
Performed at: Jazz Fest Vienna, Jazz Jamboree Warsaw, Jazz Festival in Montreaux, North Sea Jazz Festival, The Hague, Concert at the Noor Al Hussein Foundation, Amman.
Tours: France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Turkey, and South America (with various jazz groups).
Awards: Shak Jazz-Concourse 1993, The Hague, Europe Jazz Contest 1994, Belgium, Middelsee Jazz Concourse 1995.

ROB BARGAD
Rob was born in Boston in 1962. After studying piano for 3 years with Kenny Barron at Rutgers University, Rob moved to New York City in 1984, where he started his jazz career as accompanist for singing legends Little Jimmy Scott and Dakota Staton. In 1987 he spent a year as pianist for the Lionel Hampton Orchestra, touring the United States, Europe and Japan. In 1991, Rob joined the Nat Adderley Quintet, with whom he played for nearly 8 years, toured the world and recorded 8 CD’s. Along the way, Rob has also performed, toured and/or recorded with: Jimmy Cobb’s Mobb, Ronny Jordan, Gloria Lynne, Jeannie Bryson, Roy Hargrove, Laverne Butler, the Walter Booker Quintet, Bud Shank, Carolyn Leonhart, Alvin Queen, and many more ... Mr. Bargad is also an accomplished arranger, producer and songwriter. His songs have been chosen for several recording and film projects. Two of Rob’s songs can be found in the newly published vocal anthology: Sing Jazz from Second Floor Music. Rob has recorded several CDs as a leader and co-leader – Better Times (Criss Cross 1086CD), The Shadow of Your Smile (Alfa Jazz ALCB3069), Mom’s Good Wishes (Central Station Music CSM060101), and Steal the Moon (Sunnyside Records) with vocalist Carolyn Leonhart. In 2004, Rob co-founded the Hammond organ trio, JOHNSON 3!, which features Rob on Hammond and vocals. Their CD is JOHNSON 3! What about Love? (CSM 050101). Another band project featuring Rob on Hammond organ – Organic Mode – is soon to release a debut CD, entitled Nasty June Thing (Organic Records).
Rob Bargad is now Professor of Jazz Piano at the Kärntnerlandeskonservatorium – a conservatory in Klagenfurt, Austria. He lives in Vienna with his wife, Nadine, a freelance photographer.
MARC ABRAMS
Born 1958 in New York, Marc began his interest in music at the piano at age 7. At the age 10 he began studies at the bass violin. At 12 he began playing musicals and performing with regional orchestras and chamber orchestras comprised of young musicians from the New York area. At 13 he began playing the electric bass in local groups. Experiences include: Kenny Clarke, Sal Nistico, Chet Baker, Karl Berger, John Tchicai, Steve Lacy, Luisa Longo.

KLEMENS MARKTL
Drummer, bandleader, composer & arranger Klemens Marktl was born in Austria in 1976.
After studying classical piano at a very young age, Klemens Marktl discovered his passion in playing the drums. He studied drums in Austria, The Hague, Amsterdam and New York with Carl Allen, Ralph Peterson, Greg Hutchinson, Ari Hoenig, John Riley, ... among others.
1997-2003 Klemens lived in the Netherlands and worked professionally as a drummer/bandleader in the international jazz scene.
In January 2003 he recorded his first CD-debut "THE CHALLENGE" (Jazz`n`Arts). He has toured and recorded with jazz greats such as George Garzone, Seamus Blake, Aaron Goldberg, Chris Cheek, Matt Penman, Johannes Weidenmueller, Barry Harris, Jesse van Ruller, Renato Chicco, Ferdinand Povel, Jasper Blom, Phillip Harper, Frans Elsen, Michael Erian, Primus Sitter, Erich Kleinschuster, Heinz von Hermann, Rick Margitza, John Swana, Rob Bargad, Kenny Werner, Herwig Gradischnig, Andy Middleton, Martin Reiter, Peter Madsen, Johannes Enders, Harry Sokal, Reinhard Micko, Oliver Kent, Christian Havel, Erwin Schmidt, Robert Bachner Big Band, Karin Bachner, Jure Pukl, Matthias Pichler, Milan Nicolic, Piotr Wojtasek, Marc Abrams, ...
In January 2001 Klemens won the 1st price at the "Leid’sche Jazz Award"(NL). After 51 years living in the Netherlands he made his move to New York in 2003 and lived and performed there for 2 years. He jumped right into the New York jazz scene and worked with such artists as Wes Anderson, Mark Rapp, Rob Bargad, Waldrin Riks, Anthony Wonsey, Vincent Herring, Toru Dodo, Rick Germanson, John Swana ...
During that time he also formed his own quartet with Chris Cheek, Aaron Goldberg and Matt Penman which features his own compositions. Klemens Marktl went into the studio with his new band and recorded his first FRESH SOUND NEW TALENT release called "OCEAN AVENUE".
Since September 2004 he has been living in Vienna and touring as a sideman and with his own projects all over Europe. In 2006 Klemens Marktl was nominated for the "Hans Koller Sideman of the Year Award".
