CLUB BOOGALOO
"CLUB BOOGALOO" – the name denotes its significance: Modern organ jazz where the groove plays a pivotal role – bebop, funk, shuffle, swing and boogaloo. In addition, there are blues elements and of course always the warm sound of the Hammond B 3. The music is based on the tradition of Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Don Patterson, Charles Earland, Larry Goldings, Joey DeFrancesco, Jimmy McGriff, George Benson, Grant Green and Wes Montgomery and continues it in a contemporary way.
ANDREAS KISSENBECK
Andreas Kissenbeck (org) has played concerts and tours among others with Bennie Bailey, Jiggs Wigham and Bobby Shew.  In addition to his activities as an organist and pianist, he teaches at the music universities of Munich, Hannover, Wuerzburg and Muenster, and has earned the jazz-prize of the Süddeutsche Zeitung (renowned newspaper of Southern Germany).
TORSTEN GOODS
Torsten Goods (git/voc) known thanks to his successful albums released by ACT, plays above all his guitar, which he also used with a great deal of success playing along with Les Paul, Bob James and Chris Potter. He was a finalist at the international jazz competitions in Montreux, London, Brussels and Dresden, as well as a semi-finalist at the renowned ”Thelonious Monk Guitar Competition" in Washington, DC.
PETER WENIGER
Peter Weniger (sax) gained the SWF Jazz Prize and the Quartal Prize of the German Record Critics. He played a. o. with John Abercrombie, Mike Stern, Adam Nussbaum, David Liebman, Carl Allen, Jeff Hamilton, Maceo Parker, Lionel Richie, etc. He is a Professor of Jazz Saxophone at the University of Arts in Berlin.
TOBIAS BACKHAUS
Tobias Backhaus (dr) has already performed at clubs and festivals across the globe with such diverse artists as Torsten de Winkel, Tony Lakatos, Carlos Bica, Martin Gjakonovski, Orlando LeFleming, Gwilym Simcock, Bob Mintzer, Herb Geller, Norbert Scholly, Nils Landgren, Jiggs Whigham, Bob Degen or Ack van Rooyen.
