The Novi Sad band Quantum Field was formed at the initiative of the Novi Sad-based drummer Miljan Vukoje, with some of his friends with similar musical affinities. The group was created out of the members’ desire to find their expression in original music. They seek it in different styles of music, with a common thread of improvisation as a quintessence of their musicianship. Their first album was recorded in 2015 in the music studio Road with the sound engineer and producer Dragan Alimpijević, and the official release came out under the Student Cultural Centre of Novi Sad label. Among their performances most notable are: “Exit“ festival, concert within the series “Jazz metronom“ organised by the Novi Sad Cultural Centre, Temišvar Jazz Fest, Balcanic Open Windows Umbria Jazz Fest , Nisville Jazz Fest, promotion of the album within the Novi Sad Jazz Festival 2015 in Studio M, and Green Town Jazz Fest 2016.
