In just a few
years Jazz Pistols managed to promote their ENERGY JAZZ as their own
sound, and to draw the attention of music lovers. Among these three
musicians each one shows the individuality of style, but they merge
them in exciting mixture of various compositions, arrangements that
are rich with details and impressive solo
compositions.
The force of
expression, richness of styles and fitness of Jazz Pistols are quite
surprising for band of this structure. These are the characteristics
that, with their density and flexibility, enchant every
listener.
The attention that every member of the
band has drawn to itself can be recognized from the fact that Stefan
Ivan Schäfer (guitar) is represented at guitar sampler “Adventures
in Guitarland” where we can also hear the best German guitar
players, Christoph Victor Kaiser (bass) is a Berklee College of
Music scholar, and last but not the least Tomas Lui Ludwig (drums)
is, thanks to collaboration with Julie Nigel Band and Chaka Khan, on
the top of German drummer’s elite for a long
time.
Since 2002 Jazz Pistols are, together
with the famous actor and singer Uwe Ochsenknecht, the nucleus of
nine-member Uwe Ochsenknecht Band. Besides many performances on
festivals and in clubs in Germany and the neighborhood countries,
Jazz Pistols will tour around East and South Africa during October
2002, and during November around Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina
and Macedonia.
How ever
impressive these music successes may be – the strongest side of Jazz
Pistols are their live perfomances that are unforgettable for the
audience. Their actual CD “Special
Treatment” is on the market since March
2002.
This one, as well as their other albums
– “3 On The Floor” and “3 On The
Moon”, is issued by Lipstick Records
publishing house.
