MUSIC PEDAGOGY SEMINAR: Can music change the world?

by: Marco Pignataro, Managing Director and Faculty

for the Berklee Global Jazz Institute.

Through this seminar, music students, teachers and professional musicians will be exposed to ideas, principles and practices involved in teaching contemporary and popular music programs. Aimed to develop a deeper understanding of the psychological and educational principles of teaching music, attendees will find inspiration in viewing music teaching as a catalyst for human development, while refining their own pedagogical ideas and principles. Marco Pignataro’s inspirational point of view on education stems from his twenty year old experience in educational settings, encompassing all levels: from elementary to university master students. Marco Pignataro presently co-leads, together with renowned jazz pianist Danilo Perez, the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI), the world leading jazz program for creative musicians.
