 Band 
            plays modern instrumental music combining funk, r&b, jazz, rock 
            and latino elements.  Members are: Branko 
            Koprivica – guitar, Aleksandar Banjac – keyboard, Vladimir Samardzic 
            – bass and Dejan Momcilovic – drums, with Bunford Gabor – saxophone 
            often playing as guest. Band was formed in summer of 2000. in Novi 
            Sad and during the one-year existence made great credit not only in 
            Vojvodina (Novi Sad, Backa Palanka, Sremska Mitrovica, Zrenjanin, 
            Subotica) but also in Montenegro (Podgorica, Niksic) and the 
            Republic of Srpska (Banja Luka, Zelenkovac) and Bosnia and 
            Herzegovina (Trebinje).
 Four extraordinary 
            instrumentalists began playing songs of others famous jazz/funk 
            musicians/bands, adding as time passed more and more of their own 
            authorized numbers. Band is currently working at their first album 
            containing original compositions and

            Samardzic, finished musician, bass player, composer, 
            arranger
 Born 1970. 
            in Novi Sad. Plays bass since he was 19., in music professionally 
            since 1992. Since 1993. member of RTV Novi Sad 
            Orchestra under leadership of Josip Lorbek. He started co-operation 
            with Vasil Hadzimanov at the same year, playing successfully in 
            clubs of Belgrade and Novi Sad, he specializes his instrument. In 
            period since 1995 till 1997 he was a member of rock band SMAK and a 
            student of Radomir Mihajlovic Tocak. Although without formal musical 
            education, 1997. He started studying and gained a scholarship from 
            Berklee Collage of Music, modern and jazz music academy in Boston 
            and “Studenica” Foundation. He won a price for achieved results at 
            the Department for bas guitar and BMG jazz Award. During his studies 
            in USA he performed as bass player in Bryan Oliver funk band, latino 
            band Papa Loves Mambo, as well as an associate of American singer 
            Gabrielle Goodman. He played with his sextet his own arrangements 
            and compositions in Boston clubs. In December 1999. He obtained his 
            diploma with “great honors” at Department of Professional 
            musician/Bas guitar with Professor Oscar Stangara and Anthony 
            Vitaglia. After his return in Yugoslavia he returns to Vasil 
            Hadzimanov Band and establishes Novi Sad fusion band Groove Masters. 
            He co-operates with singers Hana Vucucevic (Speed Limit, Hana Vasil 
            Funk Band) and Bisera Veletanlic.
 Vladimir Samardzic is 
            editor of radio show Jazz Scene on Radio Novi Sad, private 
            instructor and bass guitar/jazz harmony workshop 
            leader.
 As bassist he participated in 
            realization of the following musical editions:
 Belgrade 
            Jazz Scene 1993 – PGP RTS (1993); SMAK- Fox Cinema – Komuna, PGP RTS 
            (1995), Garavi Sokak / Dovidjenja Tugo – PGP RTS (201) ,as well as 
            in other solo projects of rock guitarist Petar Jelavic (YU Grupa) 
            and ethno multiinstrumentalist Slobodan Trkulja (Balkanopolis), 
            whose albums are in preparation. His bass lines are part of some 
            independent American editions.

            Anthony Jackson, Tony Levin and Dave

             Born in 
            Belgrade, in 1971. After finishing primary music school, he started 
            taking regular drum lessons with famous drummer/pedagogue Miroslav 
            Karlovic. Within a few years he started a solo career, improving his 
            skills, playing with Mirodrag Nikolic (a guitar professor at Guitar 
            Institute if London), Bisera Veletanlic, Milivoje Mica Markovic… He 
            took registration exam at the Percussion Institute of London, being 
            one of the best in the class that year, but could not start his 
            studies because of the political situation in Yugoslavia. At the 
            beginning of the 90s he became a member of Hazari, one of the modern 
            ethno bands which explores very complex rhythmical figures based in 
            Balcanic rhythms. He worked with Vasil Hadzimanov, Hana Vucicevic, 
            Billy King. In 1997 he founded a noticeable fusion groups named 
            Magnus, where his drumming abilities came to full expression. He 
            participated in the marvelous Sidewinder Project in 1999 and many 
            other musical festivals in the country. 
            As a studio 
            musician played in various local projects (Tanja Banjanin, Nikola 
            Pejakovic-Kolja…). For the past few years he has been working as a 
            field associate of RTS Big Band Belgrade and Fiesta Latino Band 
            under the leadership of Branko Markovic.

             Born in 
            Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1974. As extremely young and 
            talented artist under the supervision of his school music teacher, 
            Oleg Balashev Samarsky, he won numberless prizes such 
            as: the 1st place at the Republic Contest of 
            BiH and the 2nd place at Federal Competition (SFR Yugoslavia). In 
            the following years he played with several musicians and groups from 
            BIH and became a well noticed associate of Pavaroti Center Studio in 
            Mostar and Cameleon Studio in Novi Sad. For the past few years he 
            has worked with Aleksandar Dujin, Billy King, as well as with other 
            respectable names. He has had the biggest credit in founding the 
            modern fusion band - Groove Masters. He is a guitarist of an 
            extraordinary tone and technique with very defined phrase and a 
            sense for dynamics.

            Banjac, pianist, composer, arranger Born 1976. In 
            Cuprija. He expressed his great interest and talent for keyboard in 
            primary school, earning his “musical money” as early as 12. He 
            finished “Isidor Bajic” musical high school in Novi Sad, where he 
            starts  Musical Academy, Department Composition in class of 
            professors Milan Mihajlovic and Slavko Suklar. He co-operated with 
            Michael Kernsting (Germany) as well as with Hungarian jazz blues 
            guitarist Laszlo Atila. At the first half of the 90 –es he is a 
            member of Revir band, after that in 1996. he plays with very 
            successful Novi Sad funk/r&b band Colibry, with whom he toured 
            all over the country.
 Last few years is a 
            regular member of Tanja Jovicevic’s band October 1864. As studio 
            musician, keyboardist / arranger he played on over 30 albums of pop 
            music (Goca Trzan, Tanja Banjanin, Xenia, Elvis J. 
            Kurtovic,…).
 Important musical editions he worked on 
            are: Partenon/Revir – independent edition (1994), Kasandrin Glas – 
            Metropolis (1996), II/Revir – PGP (1997), Balkanopolis- independent 
            edition (1999), Akos – Germany (2000), Aleksandar Dujin / Smooth – 
            Radio 021(2000).
