            Jeanneau – a saxophone and flute player, composer, arranger, 
            pedagogue and the band leader
 He is a 
            self-taught saxophone player. Later he studied the flute with Rene 
            Leroy and Harmony with Ms Machabey Ganeval. In 1960 he started an 
            international jazz career with his own quartet, then worked with a 
            sax quartet, Pandemonium, the trio Humair-Jeanneau-Texier, with 
            which he performed at all great national and international 
            festivals. Many records have been made under his name and with his 
            participation. Since 1986 he has been the first Music Director of 
            the National Jazz Orchestra. 1987-1991 was in charge when  the 
            Jazz Department of Information Music Centre on the island of Reunion 
            was created. 1991-2000 worked as a professor at Paris VIII 
            University. In the same period he was responsible for the Jazz and 
            Improvised Music Department at the Higher National Music 
            Conservatoire in Paris. He is a member of the Music Museum 
            Scientific Committee. Since the September 2000 he has been the 
            co-director of the National Jazz Orchestra (Paolo Damiani) and the 
            founder and Director of the jazz orchestra Europe-Africa. He has 
            been granted the title of Chevalier des Arts et Letters, and the 
            National Medal of Honor. He won the prize Boris Vian and the Great 
            national Prize for music 1991. |

 Born 30 
            years ago on the island of Mauricius. He studied the bass guitar, 
            contrabass and piano by himself. He succeeded on the Island very 
            quickly as a member of the orchestra led by the sax player, Ernest 
            Wiehe. Francois Jeanneau noticed him and advised him to come to 
            Paris where he was led into the Jazz class at the Higher Music 
            National Conservatoire in 1993. Then he started a brilliant career 
            working with: Michel Portal, Didier Lockwood, François Jeanneau, 
            N'Guyen Le, Andy Emlar, Richard Galliano, Nelson Veras… His music is 
            characterized by a unique lightness, he  harmonizes and mixes 
            all the styles with, such as 'groover'. He has played with, among 
            others, Michael Portal ('Cinema', 'Cinema 95', 'Yeelen'), Le POM 
            ('Le POM', 'Estramadure'), Phillipe Sellam-Gillesrene ('African 
            Project'), Andy Emler ('Mega Octet'), François Jeanneau ('Le 
            Quartet'). |

 Born in 1969 
            in Lankoping, Sweden. In 1985 he started studying the drums and 
            solfeggio. In 1991 he enrolled in Malmo Jazz School in Sweden. 
            1994-95 he studied improvisation with Francois Theberge and harmony 
            with Henry parades in Paris. 1996-2000 studied jazz at the National 
            Music Conservatoire in Paris where he graduated with a unanimously 
            voted highest mark. In 2001 he took lessons in percussionism with 
            Julien Andre. 1985-1999 lived in Spain where he performed with 
            several bands (Hard Rock, Funk, Brasil, R&B). 1991-1993 he lived 
            in Sweden. He  played at concerts with different ensembles 
            (jazz, Latino-jazz), held workshops and played at jam sessions with 
            Red Michel, Dave Lirman, David Frasen, Sheila Jordan. In that period 
            he spent some time in New York (The New School of Music). 1996-2000 
            he accompanied different singers and artists (Flamenco Lessons, 
            School for Singing, plays with bands such as 'Brazilian Fanfares'). 
            At the same time the band Matie-Donatie was formed (the first prize 
            for groups at the competition 'DEFANS' 1999). After that he joined 
            the quartet of Gado Gabor, a Hungarian guitar player, and performed 
            with François Jeanneau and Françios Theberge.
