IGOR LUNDER WITH REEDS is a quite unusual jazz ensemble that includes a saxophone quartet and a guitar. They have been actively performing since 1999 and so far have held many concerts in Austria, Germany and Slovenia (among others at the festivals "Lent" in Maribor, "Jazz v maju" in Cerkno, "Poletje na gradu Rajhenburg", "Sax No End" in Graz, "SLO Jazz Fest" in Krško, "Trnfest" in Ljubljana…). In February 2003 they released their first CD Jazz Menu. The band's repertoire consists of compositions by Igor Lunder and arrangements of jazz standards in various jazz styles (Traditional, Hardbop, Latin, Funk, Free, and Contemporary), as well as arrangements of traditional, folk and classical music.

IGOR LUNDER obtained his Master degrees in Jazz-guitar and Jazz-composition and arranging at the Jazz Department of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He performs in different jazz combos. He leads and arranges for his trio, sextet and Igor Lunder with Reeds. He also writes compositions and arrangements for Big Bands (RTV Slovenia, Krško, Leibnitz…), as well as smaller ensembles. He teaches at the Jazz Department of the High School of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana.

JURE PUKL studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag and the Berklee College of Music in Boston (with George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Greg Hopkins…). He has performed with the Vienna Sax Quartet, the Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Nouvele Couisine, Jeff Gallindo, Repoublique Electronique, the Big Band RTV Slovenia, the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, Renato Chicco, Peter Mihelic, Boško Petrovic, etc.

ALES SUSA obtained his Master degree in Jazz-saxophone at the Jazz Department of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He is a member of the Big Band RTV Slovenia and performs in different jazz combos. He teaches at the Jazz Department of the High School of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. He also leads the Big Band Krško.

KLEMEN KOTAR is taking up his last year of Saxophone at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He performs with various Big Bands (RTV Slovenia, the European Youth Big Band, Grosuplje, Zmaji, Sevnica, Slovenska Bistrica), as well as smaller ensembles. He teaches at the Music School in Kocevje.

BLAZ TRCEK obtained his Master degree in Jazz-saxophone at the Jazz Department of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He is a member of the Big Band RTV Slovenia and performs in different jazz combos. He teaches at the Jazz Department of the High School of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. He also leads the Big Band Big Bang.
