DANILOV DOZIVLJAJ BECA
(Danilo's Impressions of Vienna) in jazz variation was born in
January 2000 in Vienna. There were studio musicians who worked
in the Gertruden studio and the collaboration was started between
the musicians from the existing band on one side and trumpet player
Marijan Cvetanovic and saxophone player Rista Trajkovic on the
other. They continued to work together and did a tour of France
where they realized their project on authorial compositions of
the band. All the members are currently living and working between
Vienna and Nis. Their first public performance happened at the
International Jazz Festival in Zelenkovac in 2003 because they
still mainly work as studio musicians. The band consists of very
young musicians with a pronounced individual expression somewhere
on the border between Jamiroquai and Weather Report, although
there is a little of Pat Matheny's music as well.
RISTA TRAJKOVIC was born
in 1948 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Flute Department of
the Music Academy in Belgrade (Professor Miodrag Azanjac). He
did his Master degree at the Music Academy in Zagreb, the Saxophone
Department, majoring in Contemporary Music (Professor Ozren Depola).
Together with Ladislav Fidri he founded the Zagreb Jazz Sextet,
and with Sasa Nestorovic - the Zagreb Wind Quartet. He spent two
years working in the RTV Zagreb Jazz Orchestra as a baritone saxophone
player and in the RTV Sarajevo Jazz Orchestra. Since 1976 he has
been a member of the European BIG BAND with its headquarters in
Brussels. Since 1989, he has been living in Nis. There he made
a number of smaller bands and played in the NAISUS BIG BAND and
the NISVIL BIG BAND. From 1992 to 1994 he was a member of the
Afro Jazz Summit and the Ethno Connection in Rome. In 1995 he
founded the School for Saxophone, which has produced a number
of well-known young saxophone players who are now living and working
abroad. He is in continuous collaboration with the RTV Sophia
BIG BAND, whose conductor is Vili Kazasijan. He has performed
with Jildiz Ibrahimova, Hilda Kazasijan, Jennifer O'Koneli, Ljubomir
Denev, and Julian Janusev. He is an associate member of the Athens
Youth BIG BAND. With the OK CONNECTION, in its last line up, he
has played at all the jazz festivals in the country and abroad.

in recent years, in the country as well as abroad, and received
a special 'the best young jazz musician' award in Malme.
MARJAN CVETANOVIC was
born in 1977 in Nis. He graduated from the Trumpet Department
(Prof. Izudin Cavrikovic) in Belgrade. He is a very distinctive
young trumpet player who works as a teacher in a secondary music
school in Nis. He is a member of the Philharmonic and the 'OK
Connection' group, and he also works with a few jazz bands in
Nis. Discography: Process, Southside Story of Nis 2.
MILAN SRDANOVIC was born
in 1979 in Nis where he received his secondary music education.
His formative years were marked with various music directions.
He played the saxophone for some time and also has a pronounced
ethno direction (he plays the gusle - a traditional folk instrument
with only one string). He works as a studio musician in a number
of studios in the country and abroad. Discography: If Tomorrow

made music for a number of theatrical plays and participated in
festivals in Italy and Poland. He is the author of one of the
first musicals in Nis. He is constantly engaged in studios in
Vienna, and is an eloquent guitarist whose playing is characterized

NIKOLA RISTIC was born
in 1982 in Nis. He finished solo singing in a secondary music
school in Nis. He is currently studying Literature at the University
of Nis. He is very interesting because he is a male solo vocalist

collaborated on a few experimental vocal programmes in Bolcano
(Italy) and Amsterdam (the Netherlands). He has continued to study
Vocals at the Music Academy in Nis. He is occasionally engaged
